black and whiteheads help!

Hi all,

Over the last couple of months from my cheekbones all the way to my chin have become covered in white and blackheads, it looks horrible! I clean and scrub my face every night so no idea why I'm getting them. Does anyone know of any good treatments? Either home made or shop bought. Thank you!

I've had teenage acne since I was about 12yo. Everything I've tried from OTC gentle and harsh facial washes and scrubs to Isotrex gel. Nothing has worked, so I tried a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water. I rubbed it gently over my face and within a week, I saw a major difference. It may or may not work for yourself, if you're willing to give it a go.

Definitley try that Chiggers. Use Bicarb for everything else in the house so may as well give it a go!

AFAIK bacteria thrive in slightly acidic conditions, so because the bicarb is alkaline, it neutralises the environment the bacteria need to live in and thrive in.
