And my resting face looks great - smooth forehead, brows nicely arched. However, when I raise my eyebrows, I look DEMENTED. Like Ming the Merciless.

It's only been a few days. Should I go back, or will it settle in? I asked him to retain some lift, as I was terrified of brow-droop, but equally, I don't want to spend the next six months looking like I'm up to no good.

Chocolou - how can we PM you.

I think I may have left it too late.

ClareBaldingsHair · 31/05/2014 00:50

How is it possible to 'leave it too late'? I didn't know this was a thing

Lighthousekeeping · 31/05/2014 00:55

I need this. I'm sick of spending money on creams. Anyone have any recommendations for north london?

SorrelForbes · 31/05/2014 01:42

Tastemysad Hyde Park Clinic (top of Mutley Plain), either of the two partner/owners, Wendy and Graham (nurse and GP).

Coumarin · 31/05/2014 03:06

I'm just starting to get the frown in between my eyebrows. It's hereditary so I knew it was coming and always planned to get a tiny bit of Botox once it started. Now the time is here I haven't a clue where to go or where to start looking.

If anyone has any North West recommendations, please pm me.

Thank you

oVo

googlenut · 31/05/2014 03:32

Any recommendations in north east?

MrsCampbellBlack · 31/05/2014 05:43

Leaving it too late is when botox wouldn't be enough. You'd be in more need of a facelift and botox would be a waste of money.

Tastemysad · 31/05/2014 05:57

Thanks sorrel!

noddyholder · 31/05/2014 08:17

I have half the dose I started with and find it great. Doctor thought it may not be enough but it looks much better. I haven't had for months though and def miss it but he is away and I won't let anyone else near my face! No cream can match it

MuttonCadet · 31/05/2014 08:24

Recommendations for South Yorkshire please? (Probably left it too long).

smellslikemeanspirit · 31/05/2014 08:29

Wow I really didn't realise it was so common! Now I'm thinking maybe I should have some...

noddyholder · 31/05/2014 08:31

chibi · 31/05/2014 08:38

recommendqtions for buckinghamshire?

Alchemist · 31/05/2014 08:48

Noddy Could you let me know please. I had a fringe cut in on Wednesday but fear it is not enough.

rhubarbcrumbleplease · 31/05/2014 09:56

I have my 11s done every 6 months. I had a filler there once (about 8 years ago) and oddly haven't needed it since. £175, it's probably cheaper than posh face creams.

ProjectGainsborough · 31/05/2014 12:16

So it's either 'batface' or 'demented brow'? These are my options??

To clarify the 'how you use your face' statement, apparently it won't last as long if you're the kind of person (like me) who can't ask for a cup of tea without scrunching your face up.

I found this website enormously helpful, if people are thinking of having it done...

OP posts:
Coumarin · 31/05/2014 12:45

Oh I do a lot of face scrunching.

noddyholder · 31/05/2014 12:45

it works best on face scrunchers acc to my bloke

noddyholder · 31/05/2014 12:52

When I first had it I had gone with mate as she wanted it. I stupidly thought I didn't need it. She had extensive wrinkles and damage as she had lived in Oz for 10 yrs plus. He said it wouldn't work for her but took one look at me and said you have not worn your glasses (true) and he said that was the cause of my forehead lines squinting to see without realising. He said my forehead and lower face didn't match I have no crows feet or anything else but forehead terrible. It worked brilliantly

browtox · 31/05/2014 12:59

I can recommend someone in S Wiltshire, North Hampshire.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 31/05/2014 13:15

I have a mobile face - always scrunching etc. I think Botox on the forehead will be for me. Will report back when I have the name of the good Harley St person, but I remember it was the clinic where Natascha McElhone (sp)'s late husband worked

Cluffyflump · 31/05/2014 13:25

Can you send me your Plymouth recommendation please SorrelForbes

SorrelForbes · 31/05/2014 13:34
