And my resting face looks great - smooth forehead, brows nicely arched. However, when I raise my eyebrows, I look DEMENTED. Like Ming the Merciless.

It's only been a few days. Should I go back, or will it settle in? I asked him to retain some lift, as I was terrified of brow-droop, but equally, I don't want to spend the next six months looking like I'm up to no good.

Are you very young, Mummybookworm? Grin. You need to watch a bit of Flash Gordon- you won't regret it.

Why not post here the names and costs of just the good ones? Actually, a friend used someone on Harley St who was excellent, so will ask her who that was.

I would love to be recommended somebody to do my botox! I really want it but I'm scared of getting one of the dodgy ones!

I can recommend an excellent clinic in Plymouth for any SW MNers

I can recommend someone in bath with a light touch. He will also tell you if its necessary or if you've left it too late

I've just had it done for the first time 2 weeks ago. Love, love, love it.

I can recommend someone in the new forest. I'm a beauty therapist and regularly recommend her to my clients.

"left it too late" - my worst Botox fear.

How often do you have to have it done?

Report
FoxyHarlow123 · 30/05/2014 12:39

It depends Silly but every 6 ish months is a good rule of thumb.

I was told every 3-6 months, depending on how you use your face.

My guy was £150 for two areas (which I think is pretty cheap?) although he is a doctor.

"... depending on how you use your face" Confused Shock Hmm

I got that too but he sorts it on my check up after two weeks. I didn't realise it was so common. My dad (who doesn't have Botox!) has this ting when he is really angry where his eyebrows almost disappear into his hairline and I thought mine were just going like that! But getting a little in above each eyebrow sorts it.

I can recommend someone in Taunton if anyone is interested.

it's my 11s I dislike. and if I get it done NOW it might slow it down.

I don't have any money though Confused

Cheese - buy no moisturiser, no serum, no toner and wash your face in cheap stuff. The money you save, put it towards Botox. It's the only thing that works.

What can I do for crow's feet? And also I can't wear lovely flicky eye liner any more as one eyelid is sagging down too far.

Any recommendations for north Yorkshire?

OscarWinningActress · 30/05/2014 17:45

Aargh! Nooooo! Don't get more. You'll end up looking like Renee Zellwegger or Nicole Kidman. Ming the Merciless is far less demented-looking than their modified faces.

I have on my notes that I need extra to avoid the demented brow.

I love Botox. I have it once every nine months and I look younger than when I was 30.
