Redying hair-help

I put a Live Xxl cherry mahogany dye on my hair this morning, but disaster has struck- my mouseir roots are red, and my dark ends are well...dark. I've done the whole deep conditioner on for an hour with clingfilm and blow dried with argan oil and heat protection, to see if it was better dry and straight. It isn't... Could I get away with sticking on a Scwarzkoft color masque colour on in the morning, if I give it another good condition tonight? My hair is quite thin but theres a lot of it if you get me. Can anyone think of any reason why not to? If theres an issue, I will be braiding it back and redoing it Wednesday Smile

Just colour straight over it but make sure the colour you use is as dark as your ends as permanent colours don't have enough peroxide to lift the hair colour off so you end up with root glow.

When you redo it just do the roots and let them process and then run the colour through the rest of your hair for the final 5 mins.

If you actually want your hair lighter all over you are going to have to bleach it first and then after it has lifted enough apply a permanent in the shade of your choice.
