Foundation and moles

This is probably a very stupid question I've never worn foundation because when I tried it (years and years ago) it looked weird over my moles-changed their colour and looked very obvious. I've got several dark but flat moles on my face. How do I get it to look ok? I'm thinking that now I'm in my 30s I should at least know how to do it Anyone with the same problem?

Yes, I have two moles on my cheek and I know what you mean about changing the colour. I tend to apply foundation as normal and then just use a damp cotton wool pad or stick to dab the foundation from around the mole.

Cato-that's what I thought but I have quite a few, so it'd be quite time consuming! I'm not sure if it'd be worth the hassle-definitely not an everyday thing for me then! Would a bob type cream work better?

Auto correct! Bob=bb cream!

BB might be worth a try, or how about mineral foundation?

I have freckles and a mole. I don't tend to apply foundation over the mole (it's near my mouth so not a natural foundation place) but just apply on cheeks as normal.

I use very light foundation (a Bobbi Brown stick one) or a BB cream.

I think light foundation is the way to go. Go for a make-up class at your local department store and get them to advise. I recommned either Bobbi Brown or Benefit for a less made up look.

Alos check out Lisa Eldridge videos. IIRC She has (light) moles that you can see in her before pictures that she then covers up a bit.
