Is this home IPL device any good?

Have been considering investing in a home laser hair removal device for a while. Have very pale skin and dark hair. Tried salon laser treatment about 8 years ago with reasonable results at the time, but desperately need further treatment now.

I just saw this deal on Groupon but have never heard of this product before. Has anyone else tried it?

The home medics one in boots has fantastic reviews!

Does the Philips Lumea hurt? Do they all hurt?! I am pale with dark hair, so I am seriously tempted.

Thanks Daisydaisys - I shall follow,your example :)

Hiawatha - the sensation could hardly be called a pain, especially if you're used to waxing or using an epliator, I barely noticed it.

Hiawatha - it didn't hurt at all on my legs - slightly strange, 'being flicked with a rubber band' feel on the bikini line but nothing anywhere near as bad as waxing or epilating!

Thanks, but I have never waxed or used an epilator. I am a bit of a wuss, if I am honest.
