I haven't bought anything from DP for years but tempted by 20% off code I thought I'd have a look Thursday night.

At 42 and still wanting to look reasonably stylish I ordered these:

All arrived today and they look great and fit well. Especially love the dress, which looks much more expensive than it is.

Like the dress but it is too high in the neck for me

Don't get me wrong, some of their stuff is a bit frumpy and dowdy. I've just ordered some navy ankle grazers too for work so be interested to see how they measure up as usually get my work trousers from Gap.

The sleeves on the dress are too short. If they were longer, I would buy this myself.

calmet, the sleeves came out a bit longer on me and I'll 5ft 4 if that helps.

I think very short sleeves like that, unless your arms are very slim and very toned, are very unflattering. DP need to read the thread that was on here about what we all wanted to say to clothing shops. Proper sleeves on dresses was the most common request.

I have this skirt in ivory and green and navy and white - it's fantastic, the texture effect make it more forgiving on lumps and bumps.

Their high waisted jeans are brilliant for a great price of £23.

Do the pleats on the dress kick out from the waist or is it more drop waisted? Skater type dresses really don't suit me but I'm tempted to try it for free delivery.

Is it woven or jersey type fabric? Is there any stretch?

I'm loving DP at the moment, though I do agree about the dress sleeves - quite unflattering, and I do have slim toned arms. All of their t-shirt sleeves seem to be the same - not quite sleeves, not quite no sleeves.

I practically live in their Eden jeggings at the weekend.

I've also got some navy ankle grazers from their petite range for work, they've washed brilliantly and fit really nice.

Plus I get 10% NHS discount.

I bought the longer length dress and the pleats don't kick out, they flare gently as the waist is slightly lower. I haven't washed yet but the jersey is stretchy and subsantial ie it's not really flimsy.
