If you had £100 to spend on yourself this weekend what would you buy?

Please give me lots of lovely ideas.

There's loads of lovely underwear in m&s. Also some pretty breast cancer t shirts. That's what I would buy.

Doshusallie · 23/05/2014 22:33

I would have an hour long massage. I would buy some new makeup, and I would have a nice lunch with wine.

JohnCusacksWife · 24/05/2014 01:13

I'd get my colours done.

goodasitgets · 24/05/2014 01:19

I've probably spent around that today Blush
I got 3 bras from brastop - they have a £13 offer on until Sunday. Got two normal and one sports bra that was needed
A dorothy perkins heart print dress
Acid toner from bravura london
Yankee candle burner

Always shoes.

BritabroadinAsia · 24/05/2014 02:29

I think it depends on what you are after - one amazing stand out item, an outfit, some basics to bring everything together (bit boring, but effective)? Shoes always work for me, so how about a really great pair of sandals, and a pedicure if there's money left over?

I think if you are looking for transformative ideas, make up and accessories (standout necklace/scarf/earrings) will give you more bang for your buck, and maybe a lovely, really well fitting bra as others have said, to make everything on top look good (plus matching knickers!)...

But more information, please - I do a love a vicarious spend!

NickiFury · 24/05/2014 04:17

A massage.
Clarin's products.
Into savings towards a new iPad or mulberry handbag.
A flight to a European city.

Itisafact · 24/05/2014 05:59

Some lovely ideas here. Ok more information, there's nothing I desperately need I've recently had a big splurge on basics. I'm thinking a decent bra, I really struggle to get one to fit as I'm an odd shape so maybe I'll try a few on.

I would order 2 rings from etsy I've had my eye on, 1mm simple hammered stacking bands, one in gold and one silver = £50
1 Laura Mercier semi lipstick, 'healthy lips' = c£15
Buy one bar of posh fig soap = £6 - can't remember the brand but the smell reminds me of every French/Italian summer holiday I've ever had.
The rest (£29) I'd fritter on what ever caught my eye... a scarf or pretty knickers etc.
ahh fantasy shopping........actually the first 3 are being bought on paydaySmile

seasalty50 · 24/05/2014 10:14

I just did this! The blue bryher dress from Seasalt for £49+ and a £60 kala 'emma' dress from zalando.

I have loads of basics but really wanted a couple of jersey-weight dresses I spent £10 more than your £100 - sorry!

One dress and a pair of sandals maybe?

Or, drop the lot on Aveda haircare!

WildBill · 24/05/2014 12:42

OP

let us know what you do buy!

bettykt · 24/05/2014 16:57

I'd buy a bottle of Chanel Christalle - £50 as I'm in need of a summer fragrance and spend the remainder either on a mani pedi or a nice lunch.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/05/2014 16:59

I would buy:

  • a silk blouse
  • a pair of shoes
  • a silver or leather bracelet
Dudess · 24/05/2014 17:45

Hmm, straight to H&M for some lovely summer dresses and Schuh for some Ugg sheepskin flip flops!

Itisafact · 24/05/2014 18:33

Ok I've been shopping. Got some benefit high beam and benetint, Molton brown shower gel and new pajamas. Good going for £100 I think.

One or two of these dresses, they are gorgeous & I may just have to wear them to the shops to get my wear out of them as I don't have an occasion to wear them to yet...
