Summer jacket

Hi, I am struggling to find what I feel i need!

Anyone got any suggestions?

I am looking for a summer jacket: so lightweight, something to take with you on a warm day when you are wearing short sleeves but might need a bit of a jacket later or it might rain etc. Casual but not young or sporty. So not a smart blazer but not a duffel coat type either. Preferably something that won't crease, to be thrown in the back of the car or stuffed in a bag etc. Size 12 or 14 (probably 14 in most makes) and in either a neutral colour(stone, taupe etc) or a pinky/purpley/mauvy range. Anyone?

Shamelessly jumping on the bandwagon cos I need one too!

This might not fit the bill but I have this in both colours and it's great. Doesn't look scruffy and goes with everything. It's £20 in store at the mo.

That's pretty nice, thanks so much, I think I will try it in the camel colour. But I still need something a bit less casual/parka-ish than that if possible.

Just found this on Joe Brown's which might fit the bill.

I've just bought this from Gap and I really like it. I have got a casual lightweight cotton jacket but wanted something less 'coat-like' so this cardigan biker type style (no creasing!) is perfect for me.

Thanks so much. The Joe Brown one is a bit to too busy for everyday, although it is beautiful. The Gap one is too short, I am afraid I am far too old fat-hipped for a cropped jacket to look nice/appropriate on me any more.

I wanted same as OP! I think I'll have to hunt Massimo Dutti, Zara, H&M etc.
