What style of pants do you go for?
What are your fave brands?
How long do you expect them to last?
How many pairs do you own?

I am favouring white stuff and disappointed with m&s. Dd's xmas pants look destroyed already.

I'm an M&S undies type
DD got some Uniqlo 'shorts' (in XS she has a very petite size 6-8 rear) she says they are more covering and comfy than her M&S ones.

I own about 12 pairs, replace after 6 months or so ( but mine are all skin tone, black, or grey , no white or jazzy colours)

snowgal · 21/05/2014 17:44

I got some awesome Boden ones last season, unfortunately they don't seem to be doing more this season :( used to love gap but the quality is rubbish nowadays

Snog · 21/05/2014 18:06

I have far too many pairs but find it hard to chuck the old ones out. 12 sounds like a good number so I may have a cull.

I am diversifying from black white nude to more jazzy colours to liven up my life

M&s no vpl full briefs or Brazilian style ones. I buy the multipack of nude and black replace them as needed. Usually have about 10-12 pairs at a time and probably replace 2-3 times a year.

alemci · 21/05/2014 19:38

usually M&S knickers but ive ruined nice ones my putting my fingers through the lace waistband.

ThisBitchIsResting · 21/05/2014 19:45

M and S here. I stock up on the nice black no VPL ones with lace. I probably have a dozen of them - a couple of manky period-only colourful ones, some sexy sets which I never wear and a couple of nice normal pants shaped ones with colours, these need replacing actually so will lurk for any non M and S alternatives. I've bought Primark before but they don't last.

CointreauVersial · 21/05/2014 22:13

M&S all the way. I like the boy-short style, and always with matching bras.

I recently did a cull because I couldn't even shut my knicker drawer - I reckon I'm down to about 25 pairs now. The oldest pairs are probably 5 years old.

RonaldMcDonald · 21/05/2014 23:44

ha I have the worst underwear ever
I like M&S midis or brazilians
They are 3 for a £10 so they get updated and chucked out all the time
They seem to come up v large imo

dexter73 · 22/05/2014 06:33

M&S stopped selling the knickers I liked. My dd bought some from Gilly Hicks in the Christmas sales and they were pretty cheap and looked nice so I bought a pile from there. They cost about £2 -£3 a pair and delivery was £5. They are quite bright colours which I like, and are bikini style.

Blueuggboots · 22/05/2014 06:50

Thongs from Tesco or M&S when I can be bothered.
VPL pants from M&S under skirts or tight clothing if I don't wear spanx

Floisme · 22/05/2014 07:11

I'm now a convert to big pants: shorts-style with a waist and sucky-in powers, neutral colours, mostly from TK Max. And I look awesome (in clothes) Smile.

WildBill · 22/05/2014 07:16

I've ventured into new territory from M&S bikinis multipacks to M&S high leg multipacks (I like to live dangerously) high legs are much nicer. I've also bought some nice ones from Whte stuff recently - all the above for everday wear.

I have assorted brand frillies for dressing up

MirandaWest · 22/05/2014 07:17

I have some seamless ones from sainsburys that I like.

Amethyst24 · 22/05/2014 09:49

Victoria's Secret all the way. Their cotton pants are £20 for 5 pairs and come in loads of different styles and soooo many fab colours/prints. I have loads and really need to do a cull.

MrsDavidBowie · 22/05/2014 09:51

I have NEVER found any totally non vpl.
Maybe it's my arse.

SuperFlyHigh · 22/05/2014 11:24

I like Uniqlo for plain cotton ones (with pattern).

having said that I also like Top Shop for colourful patterned ones, did like Accessorize but ridiculously expensive.
