Try using Lanacane - an anti-chafing gel that you can get from high street chemists. It worked for me when I needed it - used to keep a tube in my handbag.

There was another thread at the weekend about chubrub. The suggestions were:

  1. Lanacane anti chafe gel
  2. Olive oil
  3. Sloggi cotton shorts
  4. Something from Evans- shorts
  5. Cut down tights or leggings

Try Glide and Slide from Amazon. It is like a deodorant stick for anti chaffing. Works for me.

Coco butter body lotion

Footless tights....?

something like this

Makes a huge difference!

Just normal anti-perspirant works a treat - generously apply to all sweaty areas and voila.

It's the sweat that creates the friction and the soreness, not the actual skin rubbing.

You don't need shorts you need Body Glide.

Body glide from amazon. Has changed my summer life! As soon as tights went away I used to have to put all my dresses away til the autumn too. Now I go bare legged all day with no worries at all.

polyhymnia · 21/05/2014 18:09

Another Lanacane fan here but Body Glide sounds good too .

Kundry · 21/05/2014 20:35

Body Glide is ace. Lasts all day.
