H&M delivery?

Has it improved yet? There are a couple of dresses I would like and they haven't got them in my local store, it says delivery between 21/25 may, but in the past when I've ordered things have taken at least a couple of weeks.

If the delivery times have improved, I'd be putting in a big order as lots for dd1 (8) that we can't get in store either.

thanks

It has been around 10 days from order to delivery the last couple of times I've ordered. So annoying! But I still use them because I love their children's clothes.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 20/05/2014 10:33

10 days is ok. I might risk it. thanks

11 days here - felt a lot longer! Took them 6 days to get round to packing it.

Hebburnisaplaceonearth · 20/05/2014 11:16

Mine was delivered in 5 days recently...

dexter73 · 20/05/2014 11:31

No it hasn't improved. In fact I have now remembered why I never order from them online! Ordered clothes on 25th April, despatch notice received on 15th May and I still haven't received the parcel. No email to say why it has taken this long so I will just return them when they arrive as I'm pissed off about it.

Bigsooze · 20/05/2014 11:43

They often say things are in stock that clearly aren't when you order them - I waited over a month for some kids shoes recently but they were still advertised on the site as available. V. annoying.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 20/05/2014 11:44

oh bum! I have ordered, almost £200 worth. Fingers crossed its closer to 10 days and not dexters experience.

we don't go on holiday until July but dd has nothing to wear as all of last summers shorts and dresses are too small. I have done a boden order but only a few bits as shes now at the age where she wants an opinion on what she wears and cutesy boden applique doesn't get a look in.

Anyone know about Zaras delivery timescales? are they ok? as a few bits for myself and dd and can't be bothered to traipse into the town centre on a Saturday when I've been at work all week. weekends are for relaxing and that's what internet shopping was invented for Wink

Zara delivery is great IMO. Last order I did with them was on a Sat afternoon and it arrived (all of it -looking at you H&M) on Monday. However I am still waiting the final part delivery of my H&M order that started in mid-April sometime. Have to say this is particularly poor even for them...

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 20/05/2014 12:38

that sounds much better. Off for a browse in my lunch break and to order.

fingers crossed for Zara, will be interesting to see how long the h&m one takes compared to Zara.

Some gorgeous stuff for DD, no idea if it will fit though, my experience of Zara for her is with the younger baby stuff which was tiny, so have played it safe and gone bigger (she wears 8-9 in most places as tall, but needs adjustable waists or belts to keep stuff up). Everything I liked was out of stock in the 12.

My last order yesterday said 'delivered & signed for' and when I called to say it had not been, she said 'oh don't worry it sometimes says that when its not actually been delivered and our system here says its out for delivery'. It arrived an hour later.. but we were both looking at Hermes.com for our info! Ridiculous, it has a customer interface & a business one they look at which say different things!

Only took about 5 days to come tho which is good for them...

Waggamamma · 20/05/2014 17:12

oh no! Reading this has worried me. I ordered a maternity dress yesterday for a wedding in two weeks. I hope it arrives on time as I really don't have anything else suitable to wear.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 21/05/2014 12:19

hmmmm so my zara order has been despatched but not my h&m, they were only a few hours apart, but no movement on the online order history for h&m.

Fingers crossed Waggamamma for your dress arriving on time.

Well the Zara delivery arrived yesterday and much to h's disappointment nothing is being returned. However no news on the h&m delivery. I ordered from lands end yesterday and have tracking info today. Come on h&m.

8 days for my recent order, and then when I returned stuff that didn't fit to my local store, I was told I could only get an exchange or credit note. No refund, as it's a different part of the business.....slightly pissed off.

fromagefamily · 23/05/2014 20:53

I've had two orders recently that have been delivered in just over a week which is a lot better than previous orders I've had from them!

Pandsbear · 23/05/2014 22:25

My last part of mid-April H&M order finally arrived on Friday!

MrsJK · 24/05/2014 09:09

I find their delivery so hit & miss it's frustrating.

If you ever do need to return anything for a refund. You can call them & they send a courier to collect the parcel from you then process the refund.

It's so easy & simple it's fab and saves me dragging 2 DC into town Smile

DarylDixonsDarlin · 24/05/2014 12:19

Oh but the slowness of returns to h and m!! I returned stuff on 2nd May, yesterday received a email saying they had received my return...now that I've checked, I see it does say 3 weeks to process a return in the small print, but honestly! What have they been DOING all this time?
