I asked my friend what she thought her 13 yr old would like for her birthday and she said to get hersoe make up.

i was thinking of getting something like anail varnish set but i have no idea what is fashionable at the moment!

Can anyone advise?

I want to spend around 10 to 15 pounds and would like to buy over the internet as not in the uk.

thanks!

'Nailsinc' and 'Essie' nail varnishes are very popular. Especially unusual colours (oranges, blues etc) amount that age group.

If looking at nails in I would try qvc as they often do sets at good prices. If not I'd try sleek or MUA make up as they're good and you could get a few bits for that price. Superdrug sell them.

Top Shop do makeup....the packaging is really cool, and if its nail varnish you're after, they do hundreds of colours!
I have no idea what the quality is like, but that's not what's important when you're 13 Grin

My suggestion is some eyeshadow palettes, an eye foil, lipstick, baked blush or highlighter all from new brand Make up Revelution at super drug online. It's all very very inexpensive but very high quality - been all over the press and blogger reviews.

The only thing is the nail polishes are great colours but bloggers have said takes a few coats - maybe a few items from here and then Barry m nail polish?

I was going to suggest topshop. Also the MUA and other cheap ranges from superdrug, you could get a lovely make up bag for no more than £3 and fill it with lip gloss, nail varnish and eyeliner or mascara.
heres the online store but most larger superdrugs have the range in www.muastore.co.uk/

I brought a cute make up bag in primark for my cousin who is 12 and brought the £1 lip glosses, £1 glitter eyeliner and £1 eyeliner, plus nail varnish in wacky colours and she loved it.

My DDs are quite into this eyeko stuff

if you have enough time for delivery from china, these are cute www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pop-Stationery-Canvas-Pencil-Pen-Case-Coin-Purse-Makeup-Buggy-Bag-Pouch-0820-/271368649828?pt=UK_Stationery&var=&hash=item3f2ed4fc64

MUA do excellent cribs of more expensive pallets, my 13y has both the nude (undress me too) and next shade deeper one (Heaven and earth), 12 colours in each

Bourjois do round pallets with three round colours each that come in all sorts of colour ways which are fun to.

If you want to get her nail polish, Models Own is pretty bloody good! Their colours and collections are always on trend and they are good quality and affordable.
Make up wise, Topshop make up is fantastic! Pretty packaging and good quality!

My dd is the same age and its all about the liquid eyeliner and mascara!

She wears very little else -she's been bought a few eyeshadow pallets but they go unused

Her and her friends are very into nail art so maybe a set from amazon?
