Your best ever jeans

I would love it if you could tell me about your favourite jeans. I'm currently down to a Zara pair which doesn't fit nicely, and some black Topshop ones which I feel I can only wear with my black boots. Have tried wearing classic blue converse with them but....I just feel all mismatchy. I want some really heavy jeans that are tight in all the good places and look great with flat shoes.
Don't like dark denim.
I've been through loads of Topshop pairs. They fit well but get baggy in the end & rip so easily.

Am I going to have to fork out for Levis? :(

Oops, when I say dark denim, I'm excluding black!
Also....I only wear skinnies. I don't trust myself not to be frumpy with other styles. I know a girl who makes straight leg ones work brilliantly for her.....

My favourite are Levis Demi curve in a slim leg. I wait until the sales and then get them for £40 - £60 a pair. I also have their skinnies and they are lovely too.

revolutionarytoad · 19/05/2014 19:58

Ah, a vote for me saving up...I keep losing out on ebay bids!
They do look like the Queen of jeans tho.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans skinny jeans. Expensive, yes, but when I think of all the money wasted over the last few years failing trying to find jeans to fit my curvy bottom and small waist at the same time I don't care!! Wonderful to be comfortable in jeans for the first time in ages Grin

UseHerName · 19/05/2014 20:03

both levis and not your daughterslooked dreadful on me - currently in gap perfect boot

HappyLashes · 19/05/2014 20:11

After years of looking for the perfect pair I've finally settled on New Look skinny jeans.

My latest purchase are light blue high waisted which I've worn full length or rolled up after work and all weekend and they haven't gone baggy at all. I also have them in black which haven't faded and dark blue. Prices are between £20 and £23.

santamarianovella · 19/05/2014 20:19

Rag&bone skinnies, they are my absolute favourite, they never go baggy, and fit perfectly ,have another pair in slim boyfriends and they are fab too,

TinyDiamond · 19/05/2014 20:35

I wear black ones and have two pairs from the kooples. yes pricey but I buy on ebay. No other jeans are good for me.

Oly4 · 19/05/2014 20:43

Lucky brand
Amazing fit

frankietwospots · 19/05/2014 20:49

New Look super skinny jeans for me - the perfect composition of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. No need for constant hoiking up when I wear them.

flashheartscanoe · 19/05/2014 20:49

anothe one for new look here- new look high waisted- they arent thick at this time of year but so perfect for me (classic pear) I have 4 pairs in different colours.

Itsfab · 19/05/2014 20:52

My current favourites are New Look super skinny. Can't get them now but do an equivalent.

redrubyindigo · 19/05/2014 20:55

revolutionarytoad · 19/05/2014 21:02

Any gap jeans

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 19/05/2014 21:10

Oh. I thought you were asking about the best ever jeans. Mine were Per Una, when they first started out. They were boot cut, fairly pale denim and had a beautiful devore pattern on parts of the legs.

I thought I looked fabulous in them, but thinking back I probably looked more like Edie Monsoon. Grin

Hope you find the right pair for you OP

As you were.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 19/05/2014 21:12

Paige skylines

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 19/05/2014 21:13

I like Donna Ida Ivy.

ThisBitchIsResting · 19/05/2014 21:23

J Brand 811, or M and S 5-pocket jeggings are my fave skinnies.

Don't be fooled by the name, the Marks ones are jeans not jeggings. They're a perfect mid rise for me and properly skinny but thick fabric so really flattering.

TulipOHare · 19/05/2014 21:24

Paige Hollywood Hills. Probably not cool as they aren't skinny, but they fit me like they were made for me. And that NEVER happens. I feel I have struck gold every time I wear them Grin

(PS got them on Ebay, no need to pay silly money)

zulubump · 19/05/2014 21:25

I have discovered these jeans: Monkee Genes. They are all ethical - organic fabric and guaranteed no child labour, sweat shop labour etc. The most expensive pairs seem to be around £60-70, but have some good sales and offers too. I got a lovely lightweight pair in oyster grey for only £25. And more recently got a dark denim pair that were usually £70, but I'd been emailed a 10% off code. I find the fit really lovely around bum. hips and waist (unlike the Next pair I got recently that hug my thighs and hips but gape around the waist!).

CompanionCube · 19/05/2014 21:26

My favourites are cheapo Run N Fly flares Blush

sinningsaint · 19/05/2014 22:00

Ahh was going to say my fav are topshop jamie's, they last me between 9 months and a year (never had a problem with bagginess Hmm) but console myself with the fact if I buy them online when there is a discount code to be used paying £28 for them doesn't seem too bad.

Ladyofthehouse · 19/05/2014 22:03

next relaxed skinny jeans for me.....only wear with flats and love them!

Bunbaker · 19/05/2014 22:13

"My favourite are Levis Demi curve in a slim leg. I wait until the sales and then get them for £40 - £60 a pair."

I have some as well and they are unbelievably flattering. My waist is 12" smaller than my hips so I struggle to find jeans that don't gape. I also loathe low rise jeans. Even mid rise are low rise on me.

These jeans are the Levi classic rise and fit beautifully. I bought them at their clearance store for £60.
