Backless bra

I need a good backless bra without straps.

Been looking at the silicone ones that stick on.
Or maybe a low back thing?

Any recommendations that I can try on in store?

Hi, it was a while ago now but I brought a backless bar/body from ultimo. Not sure if they still do them but it was padded and v comfortable and you could change the straps to clear.

I did look at the sticky things and one on amazon had good reviews apart from they could slide if you got vv sweaty so I opted out of that one ??!!

Hope this helps a little!

I think it would depend on how much support you're looking for. Stick on won't give you any. Ultimo do a backless body, or otherwise you can get one where the strap goes round the waist.

Ah, x post.

Thank you so much for replying!

I'm only a b so don't need much support, I just need some shape in a very form fitting dress.

Will check out ultimo. Thanks.

Don't want clear straps at all though, hate how they look.

On advice from here, I bought an Ultimo low back strapless bra and it is great. Lovely and soft but with great shape.

I've just had a look, they do look fab. I'm worried my dress might be too low, so I've got tomorrow off and am going to toddle round the shops and try one on, see if it would be visible.

How low is the dress? The wonder bra ultimate is quite low at the back so might be worth a try.

Just checking, but are you sure you're a B? Very few people actually are once properly fitted.

Definitely actually a B. Barely have any boob whatsoever. Was wearing As until a mumsnet bra intervention.

Dress goes as low as the waist. The bendy bit running parallel to my tummy button. Hard to describe so I'll just link to it.

Fab dress! If you are in London, pop to Selfridges and ask the lingerie ladies there for help - they have sticky bras that you can actually try on.

Salazar · 20/05/2014 18:07

Got myself an m&s one today, fitted myself and it does the trick wonderfully!

Thanks everyone!
