Please help! Bra problems!

I was a 28f/g before getting pregnant (I hold all my weight on my legs), currently bf and wearing a 32J. I'm bulging over the cup a little and the back keeps riding up so I know I need a new one, but the main problem is that the underwire digs in and is right around to my back. I think it might be the style of the bra, as when lying flat the back is about 2/3rds of the length of the cups and not that stretchy.

I'm not explaining it very well! But I'm hoping for some recommendation for underwired bras with good support for smaller backsizes (doesn't need to be a nursing bra as I can convert it). My measurements are 30 inches underneath and 45 over at a 90 degree angle.

Please help!

You need a 30 back from the sounds of it. 32J = 30K so if you are bulging over a 30KK

goodasitgets · 19/05/2014 14:53

Posted too soon! 30KK would be the best to try
What bra are you wearing currently? Brand/style

MrsGSR · 19/05/2014 16:31

The label says Curvy Kate and its a balconette bra, the style would be fine if the wires weren't so long!

Definitely a 30 back. I'm a 30 back and I find anything other than the bravissimo own brand bras really dig in under my arms where the wires stop - they just seem to come up too high on my body. Same as round the sides as you said. Although the cups do fit! I like the alana bra the best. Good support and coverage.

Definitely need smaller back and bigger cup. The bands on some of the Curvy Kate styles are quite big, anyhow.

if I am 36 under and 46 leaning what size should I try? I need a strapless bra can anyone help.

goodasitgets · 19/05/2014 19:14

Try a 36GG and 36H (if the brand doesn't do an FF cup then H is the equivalent of GG, hence the two sizes)
Bravissimo have quite a few strapless bras at the moment

thanks goodas don't suppose you know if the wonderbra ones are any good? I was looking at their lace 'hands on' style

goodasitgets · 19/05/2014 19:25

They are meant to be good, but I think they can come up tight in the back so you might need to go up a back size and down a cup
The deco strapless has good reviews too

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 19/05/2014 19:25

so a 38 f?

goodasitgets · 19/05/2014 19:51

38G I would try
Your base size will be a 36GG or 36H so that should work

MrsGSR · 19/05/2014 20:07

Thank you fairylea, the alana bra was the one I was looking at so it's good to get a recommendation :)
