Like Crocs but not

For 10-year-old DD, not me! She has worn them quite happily for the last few years but has tipped over into adult sizes now and quite apart from the ridiculous cost (30 quid? For Crocs?) they are much too wide for her narrow feet. Have bought her some more grown-up sandals but they are open-toed and I'm worried she will lacerate herself playing football/riding bike as DD is quite accident-prone. Any ideas?

Slip on skater shoes like Vans? There are plenty of cheaper versions out there at the mo - M&S, Next etc

What about the sandal/flip flop style crocs? Price is still a bit ££ bit some of the styles are narrower. What size is she? My dd is 8 and a size 1 which is about average I thought crocs went up to at least a 3?

She's a 3-1/2, she is a very tall 10YO! Skater shoes might be an idea.

What about something like these? m.marksandspencer.com/mt/www.marksandspencer.com/leather-peep-toe-slingback-sandals/p/p22298566

Dd has a pair and loves them as like crocs easy to put on and slip off.

I find m&s children's shoes come up small so the 4 might be ok.

Crocs are sized utterly bizarrely. A friend is a 4 and is wearing size 7 croc wedge sandals!

crocs have the US sizing printed on them, so a size 7 on the sole is a size 5uk
