Maxi dresses for summer

Are they till fashionable or should I dump my last years maxi dresses.

went out last night and at least half the women I saw out had maxi dresses on but I live In the not very fashionable suburbs.

So - are they in or out this summer?

And if they are out, what will you be wearing instead?

I'm in my 40's if that helps.

Peeps on that thread HATE maxis...be warned...

I still like them and wear them. Not sure if they are in or out though, but the shops are still full of them.

I don't hate maxis tbh. But I wouldn't wear one out, unless just for early evening casual stuff. My, 'Nights out' thread is anti-maxi because I want my legs out! :)

The White Company has offers one like here but the colours might be too dull for you.

Tbh I don't think maxi dresses will ever really be out of fashion, they're just so practical for summer.

Love that White Company dress. Personally, I still love maxis because my legs are the last bit of me I want out - ever!
