Tall peeps summer thread

I love a maxi in the summer, but am just shy of 6 feet tall and struggle to find maxis that arent shin-skimmers.

Just thought I'd share that Monsoon have a few good, long maxi dresses in at the moment. Not cheap (£50-70), but good quality fabric and nice and lengthy.

If anyone has other good finds for summer for us lanky ones, please share!

I was wearing this maxi skirt from Apricot yesterday.

I'm only 5'10" but with long legs. Because of the style i.e. there isn't a waistband, it can be worn lower on the hips if need be but with it sitting at my waist it is long enough on me.

This maxi dress from Gap is also great and I have another with short sleeves that I can't find online.

Generally Gap Tall are great - I have truly cropped and 7/8ths trousers from there - what joy! What I love is that they don't assume that because you're tall you're not slender (LTS and M&S I'm looking at you).

I always find next maxi dresses (tall) come up quite long. I'm 5'11 & some I think are slightly 2long on me!

I bought this recently, the navy striped one in long. I have last years version in plain black and its very flattering on, hangs well and is good n long.

H&M have some long ones in - I'm a mere 5'9 but these were dragging in the floor! I'll try and find a link - and only 14.99

'Tall Girls' do a few maxis that have been too long for me at 5' 11''.
Gap Tall (online) have some options too.

I have a black one from LTS (possibly the only decent thing I've bought from them in ages) that is very long.

New look maxi skirts are pretty long, I'm wearing one with a split from last year and it's floor length on me at 5ft 11

I have a Tall Girls black strappy maxi from last summer! It's incredible. Goes all the way to the floor!!!

new look always seem long enough for me and in 5'11"

Peacocks ones are pretty tall (and cheap! ), I'm 6ft and they are practically on my feet, maybe 1cm short. Might be because I don't have any curves to bring them up!

What is the sizing like on gap tall? Compared to dorothy perkins and next for example?

I would love some tops for taller folks.
