Summer indoor shoes

I usually wear flip flops but the previous pair needs replacing and they were free ones from a magazine. What do people usually wear on their feet indoors when it's summer and where can I buy them from please? I really don't want to go round bare foot especially in the kitchen or bathroom.

Thanks in advance.

Er...flip flops! Grin

Thanks cereal queen. Luckily, I went to the Nike store today to buy something completely different and spotted some flip flops for £11. Sorted. Smile

Crocs, I have freezing quarry tiles.

HappyGirlNow · 17/05/2014 20:55

Um.. Slippers???

LizzieMint · 17/05/2014 21:02

Nothing or slippers. Do you have a specific pair of indoor flip-flops then?

MelanieCheeks · 17/05/2014 21:06

I luffs my fit flops for round the house. Followed by a pair of leather timberland thongs, and crocs.

whatchatalkinboutwillis · 17/05/2014 21:08

Do people actually wear shoes inside their houses? I tho

whatchatalkinboutwillis · 17/05/2014 21:08

posted too soon - I thought that was only in US tv shows...

Lizziemint. I did have a pair of flip flops but they needed replacing and they're not good or sturdy enough for outdoor wear, not even on the pavement. They were after all a freebie from a magazine. My current pair I bought today are ideal as they are soft enough for indoors unlike a lot of flip flops in the shops that have an outdoor sole iyswim.

Those who say slippers. I do have a pair but I find it too warm to wear slippers in the summer. Surely, I'm not asking a completely unreasonable question? Confused

I usually find tesco do a summer version of their slippers. Sort of a cotton slip on with toes out. Really comfy. I couldn't wear flip flops inside, I'd be terrified of falling downstairs in them!

craftysewer · 17/05/2014 22:06

I wear a pair of fabric (soft cotton) ballet style pumps from Primark.

chocoshopoholic · 17/05/2014 22:12

I have slippers similar to these.. www.marksandspencer.com/open-toe-striped-mule-slippers/p/p22303737

I'm wearing Ugg Tasmina flip flops atm. They are a bit like slippers.

Chewbecca · 17/05/2014 22:54

I wear flip flops in the kitchen in summer too - slippers too hot smelly but tiles too cold for bare feet

HappyGirlNow · 18/05/2014 08:03

Sorry, just didn't realise folk wore 'indoor shoes' that's all.. Smile

Chocolategirl7 · 18/05/2014 08:56

I wear flip flops indoors - too many crumbs and dog hair to make bare feet comfortable.

youmakemydreams · 18/05/2014 09:06

I usually just wear the little cotton ballet pump type slippers that aren't substantial enough for winter or flip flops.
