Eye Make-Up Remover ???

Can anybody recommend a decent eye make-up remover, that preferably does NOT sting your eyes out ?!?

And I wouldn't be looking to pay over £5.00 for one ?

Almost every one I've ever used has been useless (Simple, Boots, E45 etc). I did use Clinique (pre-kids!) but cannot (unfortunately) afford that anymore! Priorities and all!

It's a bit over at £8 but it lasts ages and is v gentle and effective. It's body shop chamomile make up remover. Mum uses it too and we both use the pricey stuff like clarins etc on our face but have yet to find anything to better it.

I've even used it on my daughter when she's played with my make up drawer and it cleans her face without stinging xxx

I use L'Oréal 3 in 1 micellar water and can't praise it enough! It's only about £3 and just sweeps make up off. No scrubbing, no irritation or anything. I don't know if it's any good on waterproof mascara as I've got sensitive eyes and can't wear it, but I think at that price it's well worth a try.

For years I have used baby oil - it's awesome. Really gentle, removes everything, really good on waterproof mascara, and ridiculously cheap Smile

Doesn't baby oil get all smeary around your eyes as it is literally oil.....

elportodelgato · 16/05/2014 19:57

Not really smeary as the make up comes off on the cotton wool pad thing, but yes afterwards a bit oily round the eye. However then I wash the rest of my face and it's fine

Nivea gentle micellar water.

Garnier Simply Essentials (the blue one) is fantastic! Gets every last bit of even waterproof mascara off. Very gentle and non-stingy. Always on 2 for £4 at Boots or Superdrug.

I see you have tried Simple but I find that one brilliant, gets everything off, doesn't sting or leave my face greasy/icky.
