H+M did good today

Some slim chino style trousers for me in a bluey grey soft material, roll up nicely to just above ankle length without sticking to your calf (Logg at H+M)

A blue/white micro check soft dress for me hols. Just above knee length so not too short, dead comfy to throw over a bikini or to travel in and will be cool in hot weather but not too "hols" that I couldn't wear it at home. Looks great with plimsolls or Birkies (Logg again...I love Logg for casual stuff in comfy cotton materials)

Some denim roll up shorts for DS (14)

1304 gets you £5 off so more than postage and 1086 was 25% off one item but may have expired

mrgarybarlow · 14/05/2014 22:39

oops sorry posted twicw

Pannacotta · 14/05/2014 22:50

Just tried the codes they don't work, don't suppose you have any others mrg?

EduardoBarcelona · 15/05/2014 07:38

did good? Shock

EduardoBarcelona · 15/05/2014 07:39

love the chinos

noddyholder · 15/05/2014 08:06

I went there this week very impressed. Some lovely dresses trousers and jacket I tried previously still loved. Better than Zara ATM

squeezycheeseplease · 15/05/2014 08:11

They do seem to be decent just now - but refunds from online ordering are shocking; 6 weeks for me recently.

I got these at the weekend:

kimono in sort of subtle silvery colour, very soft, nice with navy skinnes and vest: www.hm.com/gb/product/25438?article=25438-B

White tuxedo jacket - need to size down as quite baggy: www.hm.com/gb/product/21514?article=21514-C#article=21514-C

This floral kimono - not sure about it, might be too dressing-gowny: www.hm.com/gb/product/27898?article=27898-B

Slub jersey t-shirts for £6.99 in white and black for basics: www.hm.com/gb/product/29257?article=29257-C

They also have the comfiest ballet flats in the world for £7.99, all colours, have seen me through 26 hour theme park days, the lot - much more of a sole than the Primark cheapies. www.hm.com/gb/product/08433?article=08433-F

squeezycheeseplease · 15/05/2014 08:11

Ah, I'm not that amazing that I can get 26 hours in my day - 16 I can do at Disney though . . . in H&M flats Grin.

noddyholder · 15/05/2014 08:14

Haha I need those 26 hr day shoes I like the lizard ones. I have a floral kimono black background though so slightly easier to wear. Like the jacket.

noddyholder · 15/05/2014 08:18

tablet.hm.com/gb/product/26146?article=26146-B this is super nice irl flattering shape but is big I needed small

spookyskeleton · 15/05/2014 08:22

Have ordered that dress - looks fab and long enough for me (long legs so normal dresses look like tops on me Hmm )

The delivery with H&M annoy me as it does seem to take forever for stuff to arrive compared to other shops but I persevere with it as I do like H&M clothes, particularly the children's clotges which are generally good quality and last Smile

SuperFlyHigh · 15/05/2014 09:25

squeezy - thanks those flats look great and I love the snake ones... everything else you linked to is nice but for me the floral kimono is too floral/.dressing down like.

and noddy I love but don't need that jacket.

and

TereseaGreen · 15/05/2014 10:33

I have been wearing this with chinos. Really Nice quality and the boxy shape is nice with the tailored chinos. Nice quality cotton too. Sizing is on the large side.

Ive found some lovely pieces in h&m recently, I had lots of compliments on this. Half price too.

TereseaGreen · 15/05/2014 10:35

Woah there, how many times did i use "nice". Need to work on the old vocabulary.

TheresLotsOfFarmyardAnimals · 15/05/2014 10:41

Am I the only one who doesn't fit H&M? I tried on tonnes and was sizing up and down all over the place.

I do have fat arms but the jackets were just NOT working for me. I needed a 10 in the body and a 16 in the arm! I'm not quite that disproportionate.

SandorClegane · 15/05/2014 11:12

I bought this slightly ludicrous sweatshirt yesterday

Doesn't seem to be in website but it's this one

lookbook.nu/look/5810863-H&M-Doughnut-Leggings-White-Bow-Sweater-Doughnut-Addict

squeezycheeseplease · 15/05/2014 11:41

The flats are really good - they'll be the new animal print scarf at this rate Wink.

The printed kimono is pretty but I do look like I'm due to lie around in my boudoir rather than pop to Asda, so it'll be going back.

AnyFucker · 15/05/2014 12:10

Spooky, I am 5ft 10 and long legged too, and the dress sits just above my knees.

It doesn't ride up when you sit down either Smile

Freewheelin · 15/05/2014 12:33

Dress isn't appearing on the link for me. Which one is it? Price, description?

spookyskeleton · 15/05/2014 18:24

Thanks any Smile will look forward to it arriving as it sounds perfect.

ShutTheFuckUpBarbara · 16/05/2014 11:09

Any thank you so much! Went to H&M yesterday and bought the chinos, plus some comfy cotton ankle skimmers and a top.

I had been after some decent but cheap chinos for a while and these were perfect!
