This bag or these shoes?

Going to my DGS's christening at the weekend. After much agonising, have decided to wear a dress I wore to a wedding last year (different people). Can't post a pic but it's a lovely subtle print, with taupes, navy, grey, smoky violet, and touches of bright turquoise.

Want to make it a bit more summery with new bag or shoes (can't afford both, or not of quality I like). Had thought possibly either bag or shoes in turquoise, but don't seem to have found anything.

Went shopping today and I think the choice is:

think I'd get plenty of wear out of either for special events.

A late entrant in the bag stakes is one I've just seen at Peony and Moore for only £69.00, a light taupe 'skin' clutch which is nice but not as nice IMO as the LKB one. Not in their online store yet - but it's the Lily in a different colour.

Can you get P&M clutch as its cheaper PLUS russell & bromley shoes?

Love the bag. Wow! 189 pounds - not sure I could love it that much! Bet it's lovely quality but it looks very much like the one I bought from New Look last year - matching shoes too for less than fifty quid Enjoy the christening though OP!

The bags are nice, much prefer the P&M one. Really don't like the shoes I'm afraid!

Not much support for the shoes it seems! Think I'll stick to my dark blue snake ones which attracted compliments when I wore them with the dress before.

Do like the P and M one but prefer the 'cooler' tones and lack of gold metal on the LKB one . But the price difference is large! Particularly as I can't as hoped use the voucher from Marie Claire on that item.

Also don't really think the P and M bag will go with the R and B shoes.

Love the clutch. Will the MC voucher really not work? I bought a Leonie clutch last Saturday and they accepted the voucher. It was a different colour but wouldn't think that mattered.

I do think some colours of the Leonie are dearer than others.

I prefer the LKB bag. If you can afford it get this one. I fear the P&M one will be a compromise and you won't like or yes it as much as the preferred one.

I think you're right there. My local LKB wouldn't take the Marie Claire voucher but may try at another to see if they're more amenable.

LKB bag- love it.. It's a key piece.. Will last forever!!!

Prefer the bag to the shoes, I'm not a fan of mid height wedges.

I think you can buy online if you add MCR14 at checkout. It is great quality - I love mine!

Alas it's sold out online but if you used the code successfully there I'll tell my local LKB and suggest they do the same!

Just looked online and seen Leonie clutches are specifically exempted from the offer. Damn. I suppose it's a 'classic' which is always popular and specially this time of year with wedding etc season under way.

Guess I was very lucky then. The assistant in LKB even suggested I go to buy the magazine to get the discount.
