BB cream

I've just got a bb cream with spf 50 for the summer. I normally wear a full face of slap and have just realised I don't know how to use a bb cream!
Moisturise first?
Same amount of product as I would use of foundation?
Powder on top?
Can/should I use Concealer?
I've got oily skin with visible pores (if that makes any difference)
All advice welcome!

I also have a full fringe which I don't like to stick to my makeup

I normally put some serum on first than the bb cream/tinted moisturiser than cream blusher, lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. I avoid powder on top.

Not sure if this is actually correct though.

Moisturise first.

Apply BB cream but whereas with foundation you smooth it over the top, you need to rub BB cream in a little bit, but not as much rubbing as moisturiser. Try rubbing it in with your index finger only.

BB cream is quite glowy so I've never used powder with it.

Apply your usual makeup, I use powder blusher over the top & its fine. I don't use concealer so not sure.

Which bb cream has SPF50?

I have the Benefit one, it's SPF35. It's crap though so once it's used up I want to try another.

Is that the big easy one? I was considering it this morning , is it not nice?

I use Too Faced but not at home and can't recall the SPF, but I love it.

Yes it's 'the big easy' one. I find it really thick and paste like to apply, and it's too orange for me, and it gives me spots. But I like light serum or gel foundations. It has good coverage, it's more like a mid coverage foundation than a bb cream. If you're considering it, I think they're giving away samples so def try before you buy unlike idiot me

Thanks everyone. Will play around with it tomorrow. Smile

Spf 50 is a garnier one (forgotten how to spell it lol, dyslexia rules!)

It looks ok, needs to be a summer one as a tad on the tanned side. Wouldn't suit pale winter skin.
I'll wear it all day tomorrow to see how it lasts Smile
