If you dye your eyebrows yourself...

...what do you use and how long do you leave it on for. I find it needs leaving on a lot longer than it says in the instructions. Also, how often do you do yours to keep them nice and dark?

i use strictly professional in brown, swapped to it from dylash, and i find it's much better. the colour is stronger and it works faster, i only need to apply the dye and then swipe it straight off, although sometimes i repeat that process if it's not dark enough first time. i do mine once every 6-8 weeks.

I use the new formula Coloursport 30 day mascara. My hair is dark blonde but my eyebrows are very very fair, so I use it to just slightly darken them. I use the dark brown but only leave on for 30 secs. They've changed the formula so you just leave the developing cream on for the required time and then swipe the dye on and they tint immediately. Stops you getting dye stains!

Once every six weeks or so I use the Coloursport one and leave it on for one to two mins. I find it develops a little even after a washing off so I'd rather do too little than too much.
