I've been wearing Clinique City Block 25 with Clinique complete/all in one powder compact (can't remember the proper name) for years and years. I'm now in my early forties and although not too lined for my age am wondering if there is anything more flattering/better out there? I have very pale skin and though I use the lightest shade of powder, I think that it still looks at bit orange first thing in the day sometimes. I read about something by Chanel recently that sounded good but can't remember what it was called.

Can anybody help? - thanks!

I recently went into bobbi brown as I have had trouble with Clinique being a bit dry/cakey recently.
I got the moisture rich foundation with a powder compact as although I'm only 28 Confused I have some fine lines around my eyes. I'm also quite fair and they had some really good colours and managed to matched my skin just about perfectly. I apply it with a brush and the finish is really good.

Another suggestion if you're wanting something fairly low maintenance (I used just after having Dd as I had no time for other makeup) was liz Earle tinted moisturiser. My aunt (55) swears by it. I liked it too but preferred a little more coverage (without being cakey).

Thanks and that's interesting what you said about Clinique being a bit dry/cakey recently, I've noticed that too but just assumed that it was my ageing skin!
