I used to love getting an occassionwl shellac

Regular varnish seems to look awful after one or two days, I cannot get the time (watching pounds too) to get one anymore

What varnish do you use to last ? Hands in water a lot so something hard wearing. Thank You

OPI lasts for ages.

bigTillyMint · 12/05/2014 19:13

I agree, OPI is great. It lasts at least 3 weeks on my toesSmile

I have given up on my fingernails as they are really flaky and break all the timeSad

Oh lovely. Amazon sell it, will treat myself :)

Have you tried vitamin supplements Tilly? I haven't personally but read they make a difference.

CND vinylux is very good. Same brand as Shellac, so many colours are the same. You have to use the vinylux top coat too.

I've only tried it on my fingers so far but it lasts MUCH longer than OPI, Jessica etc. Not as long as gel obviously, but also has the benefit of being easily removed. Around £6-8 a bottle so cheaper than OPI too.

And Nailtiques protein is excellent for fixing flaky nails Smile

I agree with OPI and Barry M lasts me a while too.

Tilly eat a few raw cubes of table jelly a week, it makes your nails really strong.

bigTillyMint · 12/05/2014 21:23

I haven't tried vitamins but I have tried the Nails inc stuff which made them worseConfusedSad I also read that eating jelly cubes helps!

WaitMonkey · 12/05/2014 21:32
