EVERY year I get my summer shoes wrong. Anyone want to help?!
Here are the facts:
I am tall, and very bottom-heavy. Atrocious legs, huge arse. Dress in distinctive style: imagine if Lizzie Bennett got a pixie cut and got seriously into Nick Cave (at this point everyone on MN who has ever met me will know exactly who I am, in which case HI GUYS!). I never, ever, ever wear trousers. All skirts calf length or much longer. Sometimes petticoats. Am slightly Goth. Am 34.
In winter I'm happy as I wear opaques and boots (either biker boots, ankle boots or DMs).
But summer is a NIGHTMARE. Heels are obviously out (totally not in keeping with wardrobe).
Totally flat sandals look good with some of my long stuff but screw with my Achilles tendons and cripple me (on account of the long walks)
I always seem to end up in frumpy Clarks ones and want to cry when I see pics.
Can anyone help?
Budget of up to £70 if they are definitely going to last.
