I am not a dress or bright colour wearer. i am a blend into the background type.

So, wedding in a month and i was going to wear the dress linked (v flattering and comfortable - I am in charge of 2 kids on the day).

I have a long owned pair of fancy champagne coloured heels which I will probably wear because I can walk in them and i love them.

DH thinks the dress isn't bright enough so I was hoping to accessorise with a shrug/jacket and handbag but what colour would go? I have some lovely accessories in red but know they won't go (and I wore them to the brides brothers wedding last year).

or do I need to go dress shopping?

The link is coming up as 'page not found' for me

ILoveWooly · 11/05/2014 23:51

Nudes and Fuchsia accents would be nice.

ILoveWooly · 11/05/2014 23:52

Here it is!

Do you think fuchsia? I am not a lover of pink but could go with it!

I would go for a the purple/pink instead of the bright pink side of fuchsia tbh, just as accents in your jewellery, fascinator or hat. Other than that your champagne/nude shoes, bag and pashmina would be nice.

ILoveWooly · 12/05/2014 00:13

If you really don't like that brighter blues/greens would work too. I did a fab display last week in shades from mint green to navy and all in-between... very on trend.

I don't have a great eye for colour - what kind of blow or green?

It's not a hat type of wedding so pashmina and bag sound good. The kids are part of the wedding party so there is a high chance I am going to get caught in pictures!

That should say blue not blow (blame the phone!)
