For me, I've been on a real religious AA kick. I'm so hipster, getting into them when they're going out of style (sort of- tho I think the fashion of hating on AA is pretty much over now). They'd probably hate me wearing (i.e. advertising) their clothes- not pretty or all-American in the slightest!

American Apparel forest green velveteen skirt £4.24 on ebay inc postage
AA maroon cable knit jumper £6 something inc p&p, think the RRP is £70 so am chuffed!

And seersucker striped white and blue AA shorts from the website, £15

And a pale green woven skirt....from the same. £33 down to £22 or something.
I have been well and truly taken in by AA it is true.

Also a pale green jumper and white sweater from Zara men, and a black jumper from UC of Benetton- does anyone think their sizing is super weird? I had to get an XL when I'm usually an S/M...

What sizes are johnnie b equating to these days in adult sizes?

Hebburn - I got age 13-14 in the boatneck Breton and I'm a small size 8, could have probably gone smaller for a more fitted look. I based my size guess on the reviews on Boden, I've ordered another tshirt in 11-12 as review say they come up big.

My ForLuna cherries swimsuit arrived today. It's absolutely fabulous, very flattering and beautifully made. Can't wait for next weekend to try it out. Thank you everyone who recommended them on here.

In Whistles today- could have spent £££. I debated whether at age 43 I was too old for a neoprene skater skirt (which I adored AND I got in the size 10 which cheered me up no end!!!) . Loved the Paloma animal print top and tried on a gorgeous print dress. One of those days when I could have happily bought all three but had just paid £200 for new specs so that's me spent up for the month :(

Got a couple of lovely textured stripy tube midi skirts from Dorothy Perkins of all places, one cream and lime, the other navy and white with their 25% off, they are £13.50 each and look so much more expensive.

A white softshell jacket...boring and practical, but I like it as it's more spring/summery than my long navy coat from the last few years.
