Banana Republic and Boden sizes

I'm trying to buy some work trousers online and finding that I'm different sizes in different shops, and because I've never shopped at either of these places before, I wanted to ask what size you think I should go for based on this:

In Marks and Spencer's I'm a size 12.
In Next and Mango, I'm a size 13. What I mean is that the 12 is too small and the 14 is too big. So I can't buy from there.

What size trousers should I order from Banana Republic or Boden?

Don't know about boden, but BR you need to size down by at least one size and sometimes two. And then adjust for the fact that they give the sizes in us too ... So try a uk 8 and 10, or us 4 and 6. It's free returns, and they do refund quickly in my experience so better to over order and get the right size.

Always order trousers in at least 2 sizes then u can return the one that doesn't fit.

I'm the same size in m and s and next as you, and I found boden and br to be similar, so if I was a size 14 in boden, I'd go for BR 12 if looking at the US size.

I'm a 12 in M&S and a Uk12 in Gap, and also a 12 in Boden. Really impressed with Boden trousers actually, the fit perfectly with no gaping at the back.
