Please help me find a necklace like this?

My friend was wearing this necklace the other day that I really liked. I would have asked her where it was from like a normal person only she had complimented me on something I wore just the day before, so I thought it would look as though I was just returning the gesture rather than really meaning it iyswim.

The necklace was quite short (but not choker-style short) and had translucent pastel-coloured glass(?) beads, no spacers. The beads were surprisingly big, but not huge.

I have googled and looked on etsy and Pinterest, but no luck.

Any idea where it might be from?

She definitely has good taste in jewellery and usually goes for mid to higher-than-I-can-afford price range.

Any ideas gratefully appreciated!

Can you not just text her?

Hrrrm · 09/05/2014 22:26

You'd think so, but our relationship when it comes to clothes, accessories etc has always been a little... erm, weird.

single white female weird?

try Boden

Fair enough. I had a look at every necklace on ASOS but couldn't find anything.

Gaby's? Often to be found in old lady type boutiques but are usually very lovely indeed. I am often the happy recipient of Gaby's necklaces from an elderly relative Grin

Thanks, Paper.

Style-wise, Boden, Lola Rose and Gaby's all make sense, but it's not them.

What colour where the beads?

ArtemisCake · 09/05/2014 23:23

this sort of thing?

Hrrrm · 09/05/2014 23:56

Yes, kind of like those, but without the spacer beads.

The beads were all one colour, translucent, and I think pink, light blue and clear/light coloured.

It was a single strand of glass or what looks like glass beads.

Shameless bump for inspiration...

Is she into shopping online? J.Crew and Anthropologie do these types of necklaces well.

Hrrrm · 10/05/2014 16:09

She does do quite a bit of online shopping afaik. Didn't find anything similar to the necklace at Anthropologie or J Crew though.

Are there any brands people can think of? Lola Rose seemed to be the right kind of jewellery.
