Brown patches on forehead...anyone?!

Turned 40 last year and since have noticed a couple of small brown patches develop on my forehead. Does any one else have these?! They are a bit like the patches people sometimes get when pg but these are not fading!
Any treatments? Make up ideas?

Watching with interest as have a couple of marks which sound similar on my temples .... Make me look like I've had horns removed! Hoping someone has got ideas about how to get rid ... Please.

Yes - I have these. Hormonal changes - mine started a couple of years before menopausal stuff kicked in (when I was 45). Nothing much you can do really except curse and learn to love concealers. And grow a fringe.

my hair is sadly way too fine to manage a fringe, any concealer recommendations?

They are prob due to ageing and sun damage. Ultimately I think the only think you can do for them is laser.

I've got a few and I'm trying Vit C serum, retinol and La Roche Posay Biomedic Pigment Control. Been trying for 3 weeks now and possibly some success but I may be deluding myself.

And I'm being obsessive about sun protection in the hope I don't get more!
