Are these like my Granny's?

I am thinking id like these for the summer run a bouts. I just can't decide if they r like something my granny would wear? Tell me or

Unless you're young and very slim and tall they will look very frumpy IMO. Sorry..

They're quite trendy. Topshop has a similar flat version as does asos (asos firestorm sandals). Maybe the wedge heel is a bit frumpy but the rest is fine. I looked at these in the shop and they seem really light too. I like them. Salt water sandals are also very trendy and retro style.

They are that fine line between frumpy and trendy.

On me they would look frumpy but if you are lung and trendy you could get away with wearing them.

I like the style of the upper, and the colour is fab. However, the height and shape of the wedge heel takes them firmly into the frumpy category IMHO.

I think that provided the clothes you're wearing with them are modern the sandals will look trendy, but if not they'll look frumpy IYSWIM. (Can't believe I'm posting an opinion on S&B!!)

I have got them but haven't worn them yet! I don't think they are frumpy obviously! Very light on your feet not heavy or clumpy. Planning to wear with yellow skirt I got from Boden, or beige skirts etc. I am an Autumn colouring so mustard yellow one of my best colours and they suit me.

Those are not frumpy! Maybe in another colour, but not in the yellow.

Actually I really like them and I have a huge shoe collection none of which includes anything remotely frumpy. I have 2 dresses that would go lovely with them too
