Difference between 'smooth' and 'rich' leather?

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a YSL clutch in black.. There are 2 that look identical but one is described as 'smooth' leather and the other 'rich'. What difference will this make to the overall look? I'll link..

Have you seen them in 'person'? It may be easier to tell by touch and personally I wouldn't spend that much on a bag I hadn't seen. Obviously you're not me but just an idea.

Going off the pictures, the Rich one looks slightly more matt and has a softer finish.

Softer on appearance I mean.

Thanks Coumarin GrinNo not seen in person that's the issue.. Hard to tell from photos. I can't get to anywhere that sells them unfortunately but I can easily return if it's not suitable..
