How would you style this dress?

I've got a wedding and a Christening coming up, and was hoping to wear this dress by styling it a couple of different ways.

Thinking maybe cream/gold for one outfit, possibly even blue or navy for the other? Main thing will be cover up (cardigan, jacket, that sort of thing), shoes and jewellery. Generally on the cheaper side of life, where possible!

I've already got some cream patent peep toes that I'm planning to wear! Any suggestions? Would another colour wok well with it? Would love to go quite bold for one of the outfits Grin Thanks

And if you were on my wedding thread from t'other day, the Christening had been thrown into the mix since

I was going to say turquoise too - those shoes are great! Will there be a lot of guests you'll see at both events?

Ooh I'm glad you've said turquoise Smile I did wonder about it but wasn't sure, but seen lots of nice cheap turquoise jewellery round and about.

I always forget about DP! Got that cardigan on my list to look at at the weekend. Planning to blitz the shops and not come home til I've got everything Grin Will keep looking at the other suggestions too!

The other thread wasn't very exciting at all, just that I've got a lot of weddings and now a christening all in a very short space of time, so was having a panic!

And sadly I dot have the legs/ankles for ankle straps, unless they're a bit further down the foot á la the Boden sandals (which are lovely!)
