Its a jasper coran bag priced at £99 and the purse is £35

Dh thinks im wasting money.

There is nothing wrong with my old bag and purse.

Please help me decide

I don't like it and I'd stain it in a second. it is smart though.

if you can afford it and would like to keep it then why not.

ThatBloodyWoman · 05/05/2014 21:32

Not my cup of tea at all.

But I would never spend that on a purse and bag even if I could afford it.

Sorry, but I 'm with your dh.

I like them but think they are overpriced, plus Debenhams always have some kind of offer about - sure they must be due a 25% off soon.

TequilaMockingbirdy · 05/05/2014 21:45

I really like those.

littlegreengloworm · 05/05/2014 21:46

I wouldn't have paid that for them but I do like them and they will go with with everything. If you don't treat yourself very often, why not.

TheNewSofa · 05/05/2014 21:51

My old bag ive had 12 months. Paid £80ish from marks and spencer so its not as if i ve had it years and i need a new one

The style of the bag is not what im used to and i think thats what is making me abit hesitant

I would return it and have a rethink. If you're not bursting to wear it tomorrow I'd say you're not keen.

AtrociousCircumstance · 05/05/2014 22:00

I think they're smart but slightly dull. Take them back of you're unsure, definitely.

Lambzig · 05/05/2014 22:02

If you are doubtful, then take it back. Also by the highchair, I guess you have a little one around and it will stain in a second.

OurMiracle1106 · 05/05/2014 22:07

I occasionally buy a new bag to cheer myself up. (though mine cost between 5 and 10 )but. I havwnt had a new purse in well over a year and tbh it needs replacing (however it cost me all of 3quid so can't complain)

SuperFlyHigh · 06/05/2014 09:45

If you really want to keep it do what lovingmat said and wait for the 25% off... they are bound to have one soon, you could even google it.

tons of bag places (chain called Boros where I live etc) regularly have sales on bags etc so if you REALLY want a new one you could shop around and save!

EasterSundaySimmons · 06/05/2014 09:53

They are ok, nothing special in my opinion. A bit grannyish if I'm honest.

Nicer bags in Zara and a similar reasonably priced price range.

burnishedsilver · 06/05/2014 09:59

I get the impression you want to take them back. Return them and spend the money on something you love.

SuperFlyHigh · 06/05/2014 10:00

Easter - you're so right about Zara.

My last tote and clutch bag were from there, but both are leather/suede and I wouldn't buy their non-leather only because I don't like it.

peasandlove · 06/05/2014 11:09

if you dont love them, return them. I always think to myself "can I live without it" if the answer is "no" and I'd regret not buying it then I'll get it, otherwise, walk away and think about it , or return

itiswhatitiswhatitis · 06/05/2014 14:04

Return it. That's a lot of money on a bag you don't love. I've just bought one from new look for £17 I love it a the moment but know a year down the line I'll fancy something new. I have spent a lot of money on a purse before though as I do keep those for years.

Pandsbear · 06/05/2014 18:03

I actually like the bag -but if you don't love it now then you should take it back. There will be a sale soon I imagine, so you could revisit them and see what you think then...
