What colour bottoms with navy tops?

I picked up some nice navy tops (colour that suits me) in a sale. No idea what to wear them with though - for work really. I don't think I can carry off white trousers...

Cream
Pink - fuschia/cerise
Bittle green
Burnt orange
Yellow

I'd say anything other than black/brown.

Personally I love black and navy together - very Parisienne.

Where did you get your tops? I am in the market for a few.

I wish I could carry off the scarf thing - that would help with colour co-ordinating I think.

I like black and navy if it looks intentional iykwim (ie if you're basically quite stylish). Failing that, brown, beige, cream, grey? Or loads of brighter colours.

Chocolate brown, grey or blue (colour blocking, or jeans), or maybe beige for the summer (linen or cropped). And black is good too, although not that summery

Charcoal grey.

Navy trousers, perhaps? With a bright scarf to break things up. Why do you dislike scarves?

Thanks. Lots of options then! I've only ever worn dark/ neute trousers - some of the suggestions sound nice.

I don't dislike scarves. Love them on other people. Just can't pluck up the courage to wear them myself. I like to fade into the background, I think.
