Petite maxi dresses?

I know maxi dresses are not popular on here but plain ones suit me and as I hate my legs they're a good option for summer. I had a nice one from Next last year but they haven't got many petite styles this time round. I want a plain colour or very subtle pattern (definitely no big bright florals), a simple shape and preferably a vest shaped top or something that allows me to wear a bra. Would prefer cotton. I'm a size 12ish and 5'2. Any ideas?

Gap have some petite ones on the website.

Hi have just bought 3 from Dorothy Perkins- Am 5ft 1 and bought in the petite section. They are plain navy blue, plain bottle green and a navy sripe. My plan is to jazz them up with a patterned scarf. Really pleased as they are very cheap so if they only last one summer it's not an issue.
Will team with either a cardi our a beige fitted jacket.

I'm 5ft 3 and generally wear maxi skirts and tops.Tk Maxx have really flattering stripy maxi skirts from Max And Co with deep fold-over waistbands that I lived in last summer.Monsoon also had some decent Maxis ( with one suitable dress) last year ( so worth a look).

Oh yes,I bought one dress in Dotty P's but it was pretty badly made ( but OK for a couple of wears).

I'm 5ft and have bought a couple of plain maxi dresses from topshop which have been great, I also bought a midi dress from river Island which was maxi dress length on me.

I've bought two, one from new look website and one from miss selfridge website. They both fit really well.

Great thanks, lots of options there :)

Yes, I much prefer the longest midi dress I can find (my house has lots of weird steps). A true maxi dress at 5'4" would be a HS nightmare.
