Bra Intervention Follow Up Question

Having avidly followed the bra intervention threads, and finding myself in desperate need of replacing my greying feeding bras, I measured myself. With an underhand measurement of 29", I bought a range of 30" bras. Some of these have been a revelation in fit and comfort. However, yesterday I wore a debenhams padded balconet and, by the end of the day, had painful don't where the wires come together in the central gore. This morning it is bruised! The bra appeared to fit right by all measures. What did I do wrong?

Nothing at all -bras are a bit like shoes that can feel fine in the shop then have fit niggles. They also need broken in! As it's detagged you could bend the central gore out a tiny bit

I have this issue with lots of bras as I am very close set so don't have much space for the gore

That's helpful, thank you. I'll bend it and persevere a little longer then. At least it wasn't full price!
