I mean the short style ones. I'd quite like to look for some in plain blue or pink but M&S have stopped doing the ones that I want to replace.

Where else can you find cotton briefs? Most seem to be made of polyamide or similar synthetic material these days.

Please? I know it's boring but someone must know!

John Lewis might be worth a shot?

boogiewoogie · 02/05/2014 21:35

Thanks MrsMacgregor. Off to browse.

Gap

AlpacaYourThings · 02/05/2014 21:49

these from M&S

AlpacaYourThings · 02/05/2014 21:51

or these

boogiewoogie · 02/05/2014 21:53

Yes Alpaca. Those are in the style that I'm after. Alas, I am looking for candy pink and turquoise blue in cotton which they did a while ago. It's to match my new bras in those colours but I don't like having synthetic underpants.

Ah right, sorry.

Imnotweirdimlimitededition1 · 02/05/2014 21:56

boogiewoogie · 02/05/2014 21:58

No need Alpaca. Smile I do appreciate it. It's my go to for basics.

Smile I am also getting frustrated with the lack of cotton knickers available!

I have lovely short-style pants from TU at Sainsburys, though only bought black so not sure jf they do pink/blue. Really nice cotton though and super smooth and comfy. Bargain 5 pack too.

boogiewoogie · 02/05/2014 22:04

I ordered these in several colours from Lasenza having found that the shop in Chester is now closed down. Ordered on the 20th April and still no sign of them despite being despatched the following day. Will have to get a refund if they are declared lost in transit :( and hence why I'm searching for alternative place to shop.

I agree For ... don't know about the colours, but I have had the multi packs from Sainsbos, and found them cheap as chips, and comparable to Sloggis not cheap as chips, and have gone down hill IMO IIRC they are something like 95% cotton,5% lycra.

florencedombey · 03/05/2014 09:18

The John Lewis cotton shorts are fantastic, much better quality than the M&S ones. However, I think they only come in black and white.

Marylou2 · 03/05/2014 09:23

Sainsburys are the same quality that Marks and Spencer used to be and also half the price.I got a lovely multi pack with blues and corals this week.

hettie · 03/05/2014 10:06

Thanks everyone. Marylou, you're right. I went to Sainsbury's today and spotted a mutlipack with blue and pink pairs in. Exactly what I'm after! Happy now.
