Looking for a UK/European site that stocks quirky/vintage style clothes similar to the ones sold by Modcloth.
Any recommendations?

Kath kidston has a few eg a non floral dress with pictures Brighton pier on . I love that web site too but too costly to order. ! Boden have a 50 s sundress at mo too. I go to vintage fairs .

There's a fab Dutch one I use - topvintage.nl, the text is in Dutch but if anyone sees anything they like I can help. Their brands are from all over, you can get the brand name and Google for a UK stockist/site. They carry Fever, Bettie Page, Emily & Fin and Vixen among others, I have a lot from Fever and The Pretty Dress Company.

Katie that web site fab!

Actually I have only just realised topvintage may be viewed in English - so go ahead and look! I love how they explain the sizing and lengths, that can be tricky on some sites.

Ginorwine there are little flags for the language towards the top righthand corner.

Thank you for all these great suggestions. Lots here that I hadn't heard of.

It's my 26 y/o niece who adores the choices offered at Modcloth but she finds it too expensive for the quality, especially when you take into account customs charges and return postage if an item isn't suitable.

I loved some of the clothes at Fever, so have ordered a few items from there for me - will have to check the quality carefully, thanks for the heads up fridgepants
