I ask the question with no answer... is there a place on the High Street I can get nice work dresses to accommodate a wider than usual pear shape please?
Was never that easy, but pre-DS (now 9mo) I managed to find a few body-con type jersey dresses that looked nice. Now.... well. Jersey types are out because even though the weight has gone I have a tummy paunch, and double hips (ie big hips, big indent, then big thighs).
Did find a lovely green dress out of a sturdier more forgiving fabric at New Look but was distraught when I tried it on - I could barely move my legs while the top half was a bit baggy (despite still breastfeeding!).
I fear skirts and tops are the way forward but I can't find any nice colourful tops, or suitable staple skirts.
Help please!
