Bra Gurus

I've just measured myself based on the Better Bra Campaign site. Cue surprise revelation that I'm wearing the wrong size (was 38 DD but after 2 babies and a year BFing I am measuring 36 FF or G - 36/44.5).

My question is where do I go for inexpensive but beautiful bras? I used to be flush with cash and could afford lovely Lejaby but now, with two DS, I don't have a lot to spend but I still what pretty, well fitting, and well made.

Any suggestions.

Ooh thanks for that link CrewElla.

I'm not sure I can help as I was just going to ask the same question. I've recently been remeasured and, it appears, gone from my default 38F to a 32H!

There are some cheaper bras on Amazon and some lovely ones on Ebay. I've bought a couple at Bravissimo but they are not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, I now appear to be out of the range of M&S for everyday bras ...

Debenhans do some really nice bras up to a J cup. They stock Fantasie and Freya (as do John Lewis & Fenwicks I think!) and they're really good fitting. A little on the expensive side though!

Try Brastop,Figleaves, My Curves and Me, Lea outlet.

Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try in store first and once I'm sure of size I will see what bargains the intetnet might hold.

Get thee to Bravissimo! I'm learning that different bras give you different outlines so it's worth going in and getting the store assistant to grab a handful of bras that you can try on. Freya bras don't really work for me, for example (32G), while Bravissimo own brand or Panache are better.

Once you've don't that bit you can trawl the internet with a bit more confidence.
