Preparing legs for summer

PastaandCheese · 28/04/2014 22:31

I'm on maternity leave this summer and I'm determined to wear shorts to the park / in the garden when the weather is nice enough.

What's the best way to prepare my pasty, corn beef legs for a summer of being free range rather than the usual office attire?

I have a gradual tanning lotion and was thinking a body brush to exfoliate???

I have been exfoliating with scrub and body brush regularly and think it has made a difference. Plan to slap on some fake tan when I work up the courage!

Definitely body brush/exfoliator and some daily moisturizer and foot pampering.

You're optimistic for nice weather! I too am on mat leave so hope you're right about shorts weather... This works perfect legs is good. Has all sorts of magic ingredients in to fade bruises and scars and a bit of instant tan for colour but very natural. I do also second the body brushing, works wonders if you do it regularly.

I got this from Sainsburys (only £4!) and have been putting it on every morning. Result = lovely smooth silky legs. Just got to get to grips with the fake tan now...

Probably lula but I live in a state of hope.

Just been reading the reviews of the This Works leg cream and it sounds great. I think I'll give it a go. I have two in nappies so have eleventy hundred Boots points to spend.

Dudess I'm on it with the feet. Did a Footner treatment last week ready for a nice pedicure next week.

Ooo frankie £4..... Bargain. Perhaps I'll try that first.

In my head the sun is shining, my legs are lovely and DD doesn't get cross if I put my feet and her brother in her paddling pool.
