Fat Face sizing - still big?

Just looking through some old threads and a lot of posters have remarked on how generous the sizing is at Fat Face - is this still the case? I'm a 16/18 top - can get away with a 16 if stretchy, not so much when a top is "stiff" as I have a fair sized bosom. What size shall I go for in Fat Face?

Why not just try a size 16 and an 18 on?

I tried on a size 10 skirt the other week and it was too big. In the grand scheme of things I am not a size 8, but I reckon the size 8 skirt would have fitted. I didn't try it in an 8 though because when it was on it didn't look nice.

I live in a backwater worraliberty, so means I have to order stuff from the internet, then trudge it to the post office when it doesn't fit.

I'd usually say ff sizing was big, but I bought a jacket a month ago in a 14 and it was surprisingly just right. I am 12/14, was expecting the jacket in a 14 to be a bit bigger than it is.

I'd say it is big apart from trousers which I think are about right.

I tried a few things on in there recently, and while I think their sizes still run a little big, it isn't as much as they used to. Same with the new season items in White Stuff.

I am a 12/14. I wear a 12 in Fat face, although I need a 14 in trousers there. I like the generous sizes though! Smile

I think everything is hit and miss, trousers I mainly wear a size 16 but some size 14 skirts, also I wear a size 14 top but have a whole wide range of different sizes tops, from 10 to 16, go figure!

Still big most definitely!

I am a 12 - today I just bought a 12 in jeans but needed a 14 in a cardigan (if I wanted to keep the buttons done up - size E norks)

I think they used to come up a little bigger than they seem to know - I think these days they are more true to size.
