... please!
I'm mid forties, 5'6" size 14 top, size 12 bottom and broad shouldered. Jennifer Anniston hair, green eyes, pale skin.

I love J Anniston's style but I'm not as slim or pretty as her, so obviously can't wear a lot of what she wears but I do love her more preppy style and would like to buy some more things of the type she wears.

At the moment, I like to wear DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfigger, Mistral, Gap, Phase 8 and The White Company.

Can you suggest any other Companies which I may like?

Everyone seems to make clothes for under twenty fives, either that or they make floaty, diaphanous stuff which just looks weird on my big, athletic body type.

Great Plains, Banana Republic, Atterley Road, Sea Salt are all good.

Thanks Celia I'll tryBR. I find Atterley Road a bit young for me and Great Plains have gone off a bit this last couple of years.

I love Mint velvet, they aim for "relaxed glamour" which works well for my style type and figure

Thanks Gilly I do like Mint Velvet (and used to love Principles too) but find that all the round/slash/high necks highlight my broadness. they hardly ever do V-necks (nor does any other clothing company for that matter!) Such a shame as I love thier relaxed glamour too. Again though, I find a lot of thier stuff a bit 'unstructured' and so not suitable for my type of body. I love the colours and styles though.

MORE V-NECK STUFF PLEASE! Grin

I'm with you on the necklines. High, round necks everywhere you look. Who are they dressing? Not women with boobs that's for sure.

It takes time, money and skill to design for a bust, so it's no wonder nobody does it any more.

My local high street is full of shops selling those shell/balloon tops in siny material.

I just can't find anything these days for my horrible big knockers. Impossible to find things on the high street that are even slightly tailored, or like you say, v-necked!
