Nude closed toe shoes?

You all have such good ideas, can you help with this please?

I need a new pair of summer work shoes. Need a mid heel ( not kitten, something wearable all day ), closed toe but happy with sandal or sling back. I've a couple of bright floral dresses and skirts, so need a neutral colour: I'm thinking nude but don't mind a subtle metallic. I only want one pair ( well maybe two...). Happy to spend up to £150. Won't wear them with trousers.

Any thoughts, please?

Nude is hard to get right, ime. The 'right' tone depends so much on your own skin tone, so one person's 'perfect' nude shoe might be awful on you (too peach, too pink, too grey, too brown etc).

Basically, you need to go out and try loads on. They are so popular, thanks to the Middleton effect that pretty much everywhere does a version, you won't struggle to find them out there Smile

Ooh - thank you foxy. I was thinking Russell & Bromley, I feel like a kid in a sweet shop looking at that site. And having said no kitten heels, the cuff detail kitten heels are rather something.....

Hmm. Hadn't really thought about KM. Maybe a metallic ( I like the metallic dull pink) would be the way to go, a bit more funky. Shopping trip coming up.

Agree w the comment re the importance of matching your skin tone. Dune are comfy for me, and the Appoint and Devious ones look good. The Russell & Bromley ones Foxy linked to are beautiful, too. I think they are the ones Petra Nemcova was photographed wearing last week.
