Problem with Clarks Boys Soft Plane First Shoes - tabs coming out

Anyone else had a problem with these Clarks First Shoes - bought last month. Fully fitted with new measurements but the tab/tongue comes out from under the straps on both feet within minutes of him wearing them. He is three so walking not crawling so cannot see any reason and feed up having to take them off, reset the tabs and put them back on every few minutes. Went to a Christening yesterday - lasted five minutes before he looked like a gangster with sloppy trainers - see photo!!!!!
Have emailed Clarks customers services as never had a problem before with dozens of shoes between two boys. Wait to see their response but interested if anyone else has the same problem.

Hi AliceL
We have exactly the same problem. Thought my lb was screwing his toes up, or suchlike. But found out this week that another lb at nursery is having the same issue with the same shoes, so obviously not my lb's toes!!
Did you get anywhere with Clare's customer services? Is it worth contacting them, or a waste of time?

I had this with a different pair on just one foot. Took them back and they swapped them for a new pair no problem. This pair don't seem to do it.

Not seen this problem before myself ( I work in a shoe shop) but we did have a similar problem with another clarks line last year. Most got recalled and replaced. I'd take them back to where you got them, im sure most shops will swap them for another pair etc. Hopefully its an isolated batch that has some stitching missed, or in the wrong place etc.
