Chinos!

If you've purchased Chios recently, where did you buy them, what shape are they and are you happy with them?

I've tried the Next chinos recommended on another thread but they weren't a good shape on me. Now wondering where to try next? White Stuff have some but they're described as having a tapered leg - not sure whether this is the way to go or not. Might order a pair to try. Jigsaw's look a dowdy shape on the mannequin (or is it a model?) and are maybe too pricey for chinos.

So where next?

Gap. I think M and S do them as well. Be careful with chinos though. It's a slippery slope from casual chic to frumpy midWesterner!

I want some but want straight leg as I'm pear shaped

Don't know if this worms-have some cotton type trousers from debenhams that are good but if thy aren't peg leg shape are they no longer chinos?

Yes! Exactly right and that's the problem. Have seen an alternative in Gap. Will link in a sec for opinions.

Sainsbury's fit me really well and are the only ones I can get my big calfs into ( I run a lot).

Zara have a few different colours, they come with a belt and have a skinnier leg to them. not too expensive cant remember exactly maybe £30?

I always look at them but cant think what to wear them with so never buy them
